Vocational Classes

These classes are only offered through assessment and recommendation by the Teachers and Directors of the school

 

Intermediate Foundation                                
This is the first step of the ladder in the progression of levels of the Vocational Royal Academy of Dance examinations. It sets the standard expected from students from age eleven (11) who are pursuing a more professional regime in their work.
  
Intermediate     

The syllabus follows directly through from the Foundation, and is specifically aimed at creating a strong, basic technique with which to pursue the upper levels of the vocational syllabus.



Advanced Foundation

This demanding syllabus requires discipline and single-mindedness of purpose in order to achieve the standard of ballet expected from the Royal Academy of Dance. Students working at this level should attend classes at least three times a week. 



Advanced 1

This is classical ballet technique at it's very demanding level - approaching the standard of the Royal Academy of Dance final examinations. The student must possess strong technique, artistic quality and a determination to achieve the best she can in every aspect of her training. 



Advanced  2

Here we have the ultimate level of classical ballet required from the students preparing for this top and final examination of the Royal Academy of Dance. This examination is not always within the capability of every keen student, but is a wonderful training regime and helps to produce a classical dancer of great artistic beauty and performing ability.
